Process > Combine > Merge Files
The Merge Files tool in the Process ribbon's Combine group allows you to create a sequence file out of 2 or more standalone images, or add a standalone image to an existing sequence. When you click on this tool, the Open dialog box appears.
Simply click on the files that you want to combine into a single sequence file, and click Open. When you click open, Image-Pro automatically analyses the images and 'pastes' them together into a single sequence file.
Note: If selected images have different image types (for example, color 8bpp vs. mono 24bpp), Image-Pro conforms all images to the image type of the first-selected image.
Tip: This tool is useful for the sake of preparing a sequence file from a series of standalone images that you want processed by the Combine > Align or Combine > EDF tools. These tools operate on multiple images, and they can be most easily executed if you provide them with a sequence file.
