Options

The Options group provides options that allow you to control the resizing and reshaping of images as well as how they are represented in the Image Compare workspace. The available options are described below.

Allow Resize:  Clear this option if you want to ensure that images manipulated in the Tiling View workspace maintain their actual size -- that is, the size they had when they were added to the workspace.  If, however, you want to resize images in the Tiling View workspace, put a check in this box.

Aspect Ratio:  The aspect ratio is the image's ratio of height to width.  When the aspect ratio is changed, objects in images will appear skewed or squashed.  If you want the aspect ratio of each image maintained, then you should check this option.  If you have images of varying sizes that you want to conform to a uniform width and height, however, you will have to uncheck this option.

Transparency:  When enabled, overlapping images are semi-transparent in the Tiling View workspace.  Otherwise overlapping images are displayed as opaque.

Allow Rotate: Clear this option if you want to ensure that images manipulated in the Image Compare workspace are not incidentally rotated.  If, however, you want to rotate images using the Angle control of the Images Parameter group, select this option to enable the Angle control.

Snap to: The Snap feature allows you to drag one image near the edge or corner of the another image and have Image-Pro automatically 'snap' it to that edge or corner.  Select "None" if you want to disable the "snap to" feature.

Local Zoom:  Shows/hides the Local Zoom dialog box.
