Options

The Options group provides options that allow you to control the resizing and reshaping of images as well as how they are represented in the Tiling View workspace.

Allow Resize:  Disable this option if you want to ensure that images manipulated in the Tiling View workspace maintain their actual size -- that is, the size they had when they were added to the workspace.  If, however, you want to resize images in the Tiling View workspace, put a check in this box.

Keep Aspect Ratio:  The aspect ratio is the image's ratio of height to width.  When the aspect ratio is changed, objects in images will appear skewed or squashed.  If you want the aspect ratio of each image maintained, then you should check this option.  If you have images of varying sizes that you want to conform to a uniform width and height, however, you will have to uncheck this option.

Transparency:  When enabled, overlapping images are semi-transparent in the Tiling View workspace.  Otherwise overlapping images are displayed as opaque.

Show Info: This option puts an overlay on each image in the Tiling View workspace displaying its name and creation date.]

Boundaries displays the outline of each tiled image in your workspace.

Background: This tool allows you to change the background color of the Tiling View workspace.

Reset Size: Resets the size of the selected image in the Tiling View workspace to its original size -- that is, the size they had when they were added to the workspace.  If no images are selected, clicking this tool resets the size of all images in the Tiling View workspace.
