Camera Control Dialog — Naming Options

Image-Pro with Capture Module Only

The Naming Options group is a section of the Camera Control dialog.

Auto name captured images: Check this box to have Image-Pro give captured images names automatically when they are captured.  If this option is checked, captured images are named sequentially with the specified prefix, date format, and number suffix options.

Number Suffix: Check this box to have Image-Pro append names with a numberic suffix. The numeric suffix will be formatted according to the Start at and Min digits field. For example, if you specify "100" for Start at and "4" for Min digits, then Image-Pro will append "0100", "0101", "0102", etc.

Extra Label: This option allows you to append either the Lens name, Camera name, or Calibration definition name to auto-name string. By default this information is added to the beginning of the name string; however, you can have it added to the end of the name string by selecting the Add to End check box.

Reset:  Click this button to reset all settings to their defaults.
