3D View > Composition
The Composition group of the
Blended: The blend view renders the image sequence in 3D such that higher intensities are more or less transparent and lower intensities are more or less opaque. The blend effect can be tuned by using the Transparency slider in the Style group.
Maximum Intensity Projection: With this option, the lighter areas of the composition appear as 3D objects against a black background.
Sum: With this option, all slices of the projection, where they overlap, are summed to compose the 3D image. This option is most useful for dark images.
Minimum Intensity Projection: With this option, the darker areas of the composition appear as 3D objects against a white background.

Number of Slices:
Defines
the number of slices used in the 3D rendering. Rendering fewer slices
will generally improve performance (with reduced image quality).
