Deleting Cells, Rows, and Columns from a Table
To delete cells, rows, or columns from a table:
Click and drag the mouse over the cells of the table that you want to delete.
Note: If you want to delete an entire row or column, select every cell in the row or column. See "Adding a Row" for instructions on selecting a table row; see "Adding a Column" for instructions on selecting a table column.
Click on the Table Tools Layout tab.
The Layout ribbon is displayed.
Click on the down arrow below the Delete tool.
The Delete options menu is displayed.
Click one of the Delete options.
If you click on Delete Cells, the Delete Cells dialog box is displayed prompting you to indicate how you want table cells around the deleted cells to be handled. When you delete cells from a table, you have to tell Image-Pro what to do with gaps in the table caused by the deletion of those cells. You can:

Shift cells left: Select this option to shift all cells of the same row(s) as the selected cells to the left to fill in the gap left by the deletion of the selected cells.

Shift cells up: Select this option to shift all cells for the same column(s) as the selected cells up to fill in the gap left by the deletion of the selected cells.

Delete entire row: Select this option to delete all cells in the row(s) of the selected cells so that no gaps are left in the table.

Delete entire column: Select this option to delete all cells in the column(s) of the selected cells so that no gaps are left in the table.
Select the desired option from the Delete Cells dialog box.
The selected cells are deleted according to the option you selected in the previous step.
For example, if you selected Shift cells left, the resulting table would look as follows:
