Proofing

Enable this tool to use the Image-Pro spell-checker. The spell-checker flags misspelled words in your reports by underlining them in red.

Right-click on a misspelled word to access the spelling context menu items:

The top-most segment of the context menu contains suggestions for possible correct spellings for the misspelled words. For example, the word "luve" is close in spelling to other words that begin with "l" and end with "e", like "love" and "live".

If one of the listed words is the correct spelling for the misspelled word, then click on to automatically correct the spelling of the word in the report. If the word is spelled correctly, or it is a proper name, then you can do one of two things:

  • Select "Ignore" or "Ignore All" to tell Image-Pro to not underline it in red in the current document.
  • Select "Add to Dictionary" to add it to the dictionary. If you do this, Image-Pro considers it a real word and will no flag it in the future, in the present document or any other document.
