Font

Use the options in the Font group to change the font characteristics of text appearing in your reports. Font changes are applied to the text that is currently highlighted in the report.

Font Style: The pull-down list box in the upper left side of the group contains a list of all available font styles. Select the font style you want to apply to the text.

Font Size: The pull-down list box to the right of the Font Style pull-down list box controls the font size applied to the text, in points. Alternatively, you can also use the Increase and Decrease font size buttons as shortcuts to make the font size of the selected text incrementally larger or smaller. The pull-down list box is automatically updated to reflect the change to font size being applied to the text.

Format Options: The following format options are available.

Bold
Italics
Underline
Double-Underline
Strikethrough
Double-Strikethrough
Superscript
Subscript

The other options in the Font group are described below:

Clear Formatting: Clears all of the formatting from the selected text, leaving it as plain text.

Change Case: This option allows you to apply a change of case to an entire text string. The case change options are:

  • UPPERCASE

  • lowercase

  • tOGGLE cASE

Font Color: This option allows you to change the color of the text. Click on the pull-down menu to show the standard Windows color palette from which you can select the color you want to apply.

Font Background Color: This option allows you to change the background color for the selected text. This is useful for highlighting text, for example.
