Edit

Click on the Edit Mode tool to open the Edit ribbon.

The tools on Edit ribbon allow you to cut, copy, paste, rearrange, add, and remove frames from the sequence displayed in the gallery.

Clipboard

Cut: Click this tool to cut the currently selected frame(s) to the Windows clipboard.  Cut frames will be deleted from their current positions in the sequence and can be added back to the sequence file in another location (or to a new sequence file) using the Paste tool.

Copy: Click this tool to copy the currently selected frame(s) to the Windows clipboard.  Copied frames can be pasted to the sequence file from which they were copied or to a new sequence file using the Paste tool.

Paste: Click the Paste tool to paste the frame(s) that is/are currently stored in the Windows clipboard to the right of the currently active frame.  Click the down arrow of the Paste tool to show the drop-down menu which has the following options:

  • Paste New: If you have used the Cut or Copy tools to copy multiple frames to the Windows clipboard, click this tool to paste the copied frames to a new sequence file.
  • Paste Frame by Frame: If you have used the Cut or Copy tools to copy multiple frames to the Windows clipboard, click this tool to paste the copied frames to individual image files.

Extract: This tool extracts the currently-selected frames into a new image sequence.  Click the down arrow of the Extract tool to show the following menu: Click the Extract Frame by Frame tool to extract the currently-selected frames into new images frame by frame (that is, a new image created for each frame).

Frames

Add: Click this tool to add frames to the image sequence.  Click the down arrow of the Add tool to display the drop-down menu which has the following optioins.

  • Add Active frame Only: If checked, than only the active frame will be added from the source image.
  • Location: Select one of the following options: "First" – add frames to the beginning of the sequence; "Current" – add frames at the current location (active frame); "Next Current" – add frames to the right of the Current location; "End" – add frames at the end of the sequence.
  • Add All:  Click to add all available frames to the sequence.
  • Add Blank Frame:  Click to add a blank frame to the sequence.

Remove: Click to remove the currently selected frames from the image sequence.

Left: Click to move the currently selected frames one frame to the left.

Right: Click to move the currently selected frames on frame to the right.
